This Tournament is for teams in Yolo County and nearby communities - the tournament is by invitation only. Please register on the Waiting list to be considered for this tournament.

All teams will be provided with a table and 2 chairs,  Please provide your own surge protector. safety glasses

Food will be available for purchase.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Agenda

Inspection for all Winters Team Must be completed on the evening of the 13th

8:00 am: Doors Open, Registration, and Inspections (For non Winters teams if any)
8:45 am: Event Announcements/Drivers Meeting
9:00am - 11:30 am: Qualifying Matches
11:30am - 12:00pm: Lunch (Food will be available for purchase)
12:05 pm - 1:15 pm: Qualifying Matches
1:25 pm: Alliance Selection
1:45 pm -2:55 pm: Elimination Matches
3:20 pm -3:30 pm: Awards and Closing ceremonies.
3:30 pm -6:30 pm: Cleaning up!!

Volunteer

Volunteers may be needed to assist with Field Reset, Setup and Teardown. Email [email protected] or [email protected] if you have people willing to help.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

 

 

If bad weather is in the forecast 3 nights before the event, I will send out an email with instructions of how we will proceed and precautions we will take.

In the case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations, please visit the event on Robotevents.com where updates about the event status will be posted as needed. Event Partners will also make every effort to reach teams directly in case of an emergency.   Make sure your team contact information is up to date in your robotevents.com account, as this is the information that will be used to contact your team. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: Refunds will be provided.

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: No refund

 

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
