General Info

The season's almost OVER--get your state qualification just UNDER the wire! 

We are only allowing TWO registrations per team for this tournament to try to allow as many teams as possible to compete/qualify for State. If you have more than two teams who have not qualified for state and would like to register, please add your team to the waitlist and contact Yvette Hill at [email protected] for consideration.

**NOTE: If you don't know yet which of your teams will have qualified for STATE by February 17, you can go ahead and register any two of your teams and then swap them out before the event!

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of an emergency or bad weather, the event may be cancelled.

In any event, teams will be contacted as soon as possible with the information. The event partner will contact teams if the event must be postponed. Teams should make sure their contact information is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.

Please check your email the day of the tournament.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: There will be no refunds unless the entire tournament is cancelled.

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: Refunds will be given if a team cancels before October 20. No Refund will be given after that date.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
