General Info
Thank you for your interest in the VRC HS Under Over Tournament hosted by Hudsonville Christian/Unity Christian Robotics! We look forward to a fun and collaborative event!
Facility - The event will be held at Unity Christian High School, conveniently located approximately 10 minutes from Exit 62 on I-196, just west of Grand Rapids, MI. Pit tables, seating, and electrical power will be provided for each team attending, along with plenty of spectator seating.
Competition - Teams will participate in qualification matches, skills events, judging in the pits, and elimination matches if qualified. We will be following the rules in the latest release of the VEX Robotics Competition – Game Manual.
Judging - We will be collecting Physical engineering notebooks at the start of this event for in-person judging. We will not be able to print notebooks for teams.
Food - Teams are welcome to bring their own food and we will have concession snacks and drinks. Donuts will be available in the morning and we will also take pizza orders for lunch (we will handle the order and delivery on time for lunch).
Registration - All participating teams must be registered with VEX Robotics and the Robot Events website and have an official team number before registering for this event. Tournament fees must be paid before teams are allowed to compete. Registration and payments should be made through the Robot Events website.
Only teams that are checked in on time will be allowed to compete. If you are running late please contact Jennifer Tackitt at (269) 873-3092 to make appropriate arrangements.
We're looking forward to seeing your teams.
