General Info
The New Mexico VRC State Championship will be held at Cibola High School, March 9th, 2024.
The New Mexico VRC State Championship is Invitation only!

World Championship qualifying awards and invitations are issued to teams whether or not the teams have expressed an intention to attend the event. Unaccepted World Championship invitations are not offered or transferred to other teams.
- Please understand how the game will be played. Participants should thoroughly read the game rules. Additional rulings and interpretations of the game rules can be found on the Official VEX Forum. All of our referees have taken and passed a referee certification test.
- Please upload your Participation Release Form (found on the Documents Tab) to Robotevents.com prior to checking in for the event. A completed form for all participants must be turned in order to compete. Paper copies will not be accepted.

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.
For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.
Agenda
Doors will open at 7:00AM for teams to arrive and set up their pit area.
- Students and their robots, who arrive late after the 9AM check in time cut off, will not participate.
- Teams who do not complete inspection by 9AM cut off time, will also not participate.
We will do our best to stick to the schedule below. Schedule is subject to change. Actual times throughout the day may vary, depending on the number of teams participating.

In the event of bad weather or an emergency we will attempt to reschedule.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Event will be rescheduled.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Refunds are only given in extreme cases.

Travel Info
Parking during the event will be easy for everyone. Please use this map for directions to Cibola High School, and where to park. It is Entrance B for parking. You will enter through the main entrance of the high school. The event will be in our Concourse.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
