General Info

Doors open at 8:00 AM. A hospitality room will be provided for the Coaches and Volunteers. We will have a 1 hour window for lunch. This is NOT enough time for students to leave to eat and be back before matches resume. We have several food options in our area for spectators and we will provide an option for teams to pre-order a meal. Registered teams will recieve an email with more information concerning preordering meals for their team. A hard copy of notebooks will need to be submitted on the day of the event. Judging will take place that day. We will also be hosting a middle school Vex IQ event on the same day in the same location.

Code of Conduct

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

We will follow the emergency procedures established by Headland High School.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: The event will be rescheduled.

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: 

Payment is due two weeks prior to the competition. If registration is not paid by then, the team will be moved to the waitlist. The school cannot refund any registration fees.

 

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
