General Info

Come and join us at our VRC competition in our arts and makerspace building located on our scenic campus in Rye, NY.  We are located just off interstates 287 and 95, close to historic Playland Park.  

Free WIFI is available. Concession details are to be announced closer to the date. We will be using Smart Field Controllers so please be prepared: Smart Field Controller for Teams.

Code of Conduct

Volunteers for judging and inspections are needed. Please email the event partner(s) if interested.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the case of inclement weather, all team advisors will be contacted via email. While weather can be unpredictable, we will decide by 5:00 am the day of the event, if not earlier. Up-to-date information will be available on WRRV Storm Center at https://wrrv.com/snow-closings-delays/. Please check the website before you leave for the tournament.

In the event of a snow event or other postponement, we will make every effort to reschedule.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be sent to the requested locations via a check by mail.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Refunds will be granted if an email is sent to the EP at least 2 weeks before the event.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
