Agenda

Agenda:  (will most likely take less time than proposed)

3:30-4:30 Setup and Inspection.  All teams will participate in setup, not just the host school. Only the first time a team competes and at the championship will they have a full inspection.  Otherwise it will be sizing only.  Re-inspection subject to the head referee.

4:30-7:00 Qualifying rounds and Skills.  Practice Judges may be around in the pits, or available for teams to schedule time with.  No awards will be given but this will be a great way for you to practice your interview skills. Judges will be able to talk to you about your interview, and give constructive feedback, but will not be able to share rubrics with teams since this league is an official qualifier.

Cleanup:  The last match or two will be played on the host school's permanent field.  We must pack up any temporary fields before dismissal.  Luckily this does not take much time.

Championship:

8:00 AM Doors.

8:30-9:15 Inspection.

9:30 Opening Ceremony

9:30-12:30 Qualifying Rounds

12:30 (or when finished if earlier) Lunch

1:15 Alliance Selection and Strategizing.  All fields will be open after this for practice.

2:00 Elimination Bracket.

3:30 Awards, Grand Finals, Closing Ceremonies.

4:00 Cleanup.

Volunteer

Contact information for our volunteer coordinator will be available in August.  Until then, please contact Brandon Horsley at brandon_horsley@gwinnett.k12.ga.us

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of bad weather for a league night, it can be cancelled or rescheduled depending on schedules.

The Championship can be rescheduled to a weeknight the following week, and there will be no qualifying rounds at the beginning.  It will start with alliance selection, and then move into the elimination bracket.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be issued up until the first league night.
