General Info

Welcome to the 2022-2023 High Desert Middle School League Vex Robotics Competition!

All adults will be required to enter through the Cedar Middle School office and screened for the safety of our students and staff. No exceptions. Please plan on extra screening time.

We welcome you back to in-person league competition.

We especially need judge volunteers on our last event 1/25.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Teams will be notified 24 hours prior in the event of inclement weather/closures. Please check the General Information tab for any event updates.

Refund Policy

Refunds should be requested at least a week before the first competition, Please contact Julie Gallaway at julie.gallaway@hesperiausd.org. regarding refunds. Refunds will not be issued due to COVID protocols.

Health and Safety Policies

Due to safety concerns, we do ask that parents stay out of the PIT and stay in the stands. Cedar Middle School will have regular school during the event; we ask that parents & participants stay within the competition area only except when leaving to go to lunch or get lunch.

If a participant is sick or tested positive to COVID-19, we ask that you do not participate for the safety of all our participants, volunteers, staff and parents.

COVID-19 protocols are subject to change as situations develop. Please check this page and the general information page frequently for any updates related to COVID.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
