Welcome to the VEX at the Fairgrounds Event, HS Division. This event is set to be a fun event held at the Prince William County Fairgrounds! 

Some general information for the event. 

  • Each team will receive 6 qualification matches
  • There are no concessions, but numerous food places around the area to bring food in.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If the event has to be cancelled due to bad weather, all teams will be reimbursed for the event.  Please see the refund tab for info on reimbursement.

All coaches will be emailed if it is cancelled. Please pay attention to the Weather channel if there looks like there will be snow.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

  • The refund will only be $80 to cover expenses incured leading up to the event.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: 

  • No refund will be issued. 

Unpaid teams will be put on the waitlist two weeks before the event, unless payment has been worked out via email with the EP Oscar McCullough

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
