Volunteer

YES! We do need volunteers!

Volunteers are the heart of every VEX competition--without them the event simply cannot function. In a perfect world, every robot team would provide at least 2 adult volunteers at every event.

There are lots of different roles that need to be filled, with varying degrees of expertise and physical activity. Check out the 'Volunteers' tab at  https://www.roboticseducation.org/ for an overview of the various volunteer roles.

PLEASE have one or two of your team parents email me at [email protected] with the subject "The Great Philosopher" in the subject line. I will get back to them ASAP, and thanks in advance!!

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Due to the many demands on our facilities, we will not postpone this event.

From Robotevents.com: There is $5.00 USD fee, per registration, that will be withheld to cover website maintenance, processing fees, reporting, accounting, and system updates.

Refund and Payment Policies

Refunds* will ONLY be issued at the event coordinators discretion. Please only register robots/teams that intend to attend. Due to the limited space for events, we will not issue a refund for a 'no show.'

According to RECF policy, $5.00 of each registration is used by their organization for processing and is NOT REFUNDABLE.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
