Ravenswoood Middle school invite your teams to participate in the first Bay Area VRC Spin Up Tournament to be held at East Palo Alto, CA
We strive to conduct the event in a safe manner.

Please note: all events will receive state championship award bids based on the REC Foundation Qualifying Criteria. As such, this event must meet all requirements for a Qualifying Event to receive bids for the state championship released in August 2022.

As always we will do our very best to keep this tournament moving, Skills Challenge is optional and will close promptly at 2:30, if you are still in-line it will still close). Please plan accordingly. The tournament takes president over all other activities. The judges will check match list and make sure that you have time to be on time for matches. Remember it is out hope to run and efficient event and we depend on you all to arrive at the queuing table at minimum of one match prior to your matches. There are occasions when we get ahead of the posted times it is your job to check frequently as to if your match has been called. We will call your team three times if you are not at queuing table or on the field when it’s time for your match we will move on.
Those of you using string for your end game we need you to remove your robot from the field help reset then reel in your string so that matches can be run smoothly.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Bad weather should not affect this event. In case of a cancellation, the event partner will contact you as early as possible. Teams should make sure their contact information in Robotevents.com is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.
Refund and Payment Policies
Teams who have registered but have not paid or submitted a PO 4-weeks prior to the event will be removed from the event unless a special arrangement has been made with the Event Partner.
The registration contains a $5 RobotEvents processing fee that is non-refundable
If the event is canceled, a full event registration (minus $5) refund will be given to all paid teams. However, no other refunds will be granted. Teams are responsible for their own transportation and hotel costs.
Judging Format

- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
