General Info

The Salem Friday Night VRC Tournament is hosted by West Salem Robotics club and it is an Oregon Region only event.  The event is being held in the commons area of West Salem High School.  Please enter from the Doaks Ferry Road side of campus. 

This event was created for teams that will be travelling to Salem and teams that have not yet qualified for state.  If are a local team that has qualified for state please consider registering for the Saturday event.

After passing inspection teams will participate in Qualifying Rounds, Alliance Selection and Elimination Rounds.  There will also be a field open for Skills Challenge runs.  Teams will be limited to three Driving and three Programming Skills Challenge runs.

As an early tournament please do not be intimidated if your robot is still 'in development'.  Many veteran teams will be at the event and they are great resources to help your team.

We are looking for field resetters, referees and judges.

If bad weather is to occur use your descretion on attending the event.  If the event is calcelled and we are not able to reschedule the event we will refund your tournament fee.
