The event must meet the VRC Qualifying Criteria for the results to upload to RobotEvents, which can be viewed in the Uploaded Documents event tab. The state qualification spots are determined by the capacity of the State Championship, the number of events in the state, and the size of the event. If there is an out-of-state/region/province/nation team, or a team that double qualifies from the event (not from previous events or other methods), that spot will go to the next highest unqualified team on the Robot Skills ranking at that event. There is no look-back to previous events to see if a team has previously qualified. These spots will be filled by the Regional Support Manager after the event has been uploaded and the results have been verified. If you have questions about the State Championship qualification process, please contact your Regional Support Manager, Kam Yee at Kam_Yee@roboticseducation.org.
By Monday, November 16, all teams must register for their Skills Time Slot here. Each team can sign up for 1 Robot Skills session on the sheet. Teams may not modify team session assignments for other teams and all changes are tracked in the Revision History. If a team changes the session time for another team, they may be disqualified from the event without a refund at the discretion of the Event Partner. If you have questions or concerns about session times, please contact Lu Seapy, email@example.com
8:30 am - 12:00 pm - AM Skills Sessions
12:00 - 1:00 pm - Lunch

For individual skills sessions:
● Before logging into the Skills event room, review webcam norms with teams. Webcams and mics should be off when in your skills session.
● Watch the Skills Only event for 15-30 minutes prior to your assigned time so you can see other
Sessions and get a sense of flow for the time increments.
● Be ready with your field properly set up and your robot/controller/timer turned on 2-3 minutes
prior to your Session time(s).
● Wait for recognition from the Head Referee and turn on your video capturing equipment.
● Go through inspection of the robot, if not already completed, and then run up to (3) Driver
Skills and (3) Programming Skills Matches.
