General Info

The Zionsville Steel Eagles are pleased to welcome you to the 2025 Zionsville Winter VEX V5 Robotics Competition High Stakes SKILLS ONLY HS Tournament!

This will be a SKILLS ONLY EVENT and we will be giving the following awards:

  • Overall Skills Champion
  • Driver Skills High Score
  • Autonomous Skills High Score

Logistics

Our tournament will be held in the Robotics Room (Room E130) at Zionsville Commuity High School. Please enter at Door 41 which is on the Southeast corner of the school (look for the Steel Eagles Banner)., Plenty of parking is availabkle outside of Door 41. Please note, if you enter other doors which may be unlocked for other events there may be gates closed which will prevent you from getting to the Robotics Room.

No concession stand or food will be offered at this event. However there are several food options within 10 minutes of the event.

We will NOT be judging notebooks.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Agenda

This being a skills only event, the event will conclude once all teams have completed all their skills runs. We will have fields available for teams to hold scrimmages if they would like.

9:00 Doors Open, Check-In and Inspection

10:00 Drivers meeting followed by the skills fields opening up

3:00 (Estimated) Skills runs complete and event ends

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Coaches will be contacted via email in the event of a disruption due to weather.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: Refunds will be issued minus the Robot Event Fees.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: No refunds will be given.

All payments must be paid prior to the event.
