Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

This event has no available makeup date. A weather-related event cancelation will be made in accordance with the New Hope-Solebury School District's policies.

In the event of a weather-related cancellation, teams will be contacted as early as possible and event registration fees will be returned minus the $5 RECF processing fee.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Full refunds will be issued if the event needs to be cancelled for any reason. Refunds will NOT include the $5 processing fee assessed by Robot Events. Refunds will be coordinated thru the billing contact for the team.

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Team cancellations will be accepted and refunded up to three weeks before the event.

Please contact the event partner if you need to swap one registered team for another team, this can only be done before the day of the event.

No Judging will occur at this event
