General Info

Doors open at 8:00AM.

Competition space will be very limited and audience seating will be sparse. Limit the number of friends/family attending as much as possible.

Matches and Robot Skills will be run on V5RC portable competition fields atop 24" risers.  

All attendees are expected to abide by the Code of Conduct.

All participants are expected to complete the Participant Release Form. Once per season covers all events.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Agenda

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE! We will do our best to keep the competition on schedule. 

This competition will start with Robot Skills. Robot Skills will close at 11:00am. The qualification matches will begin after lunch. See schedule below. 

8:00 Doors Open; Teams Check-In and Inspection; Robot Skills Opens (after passing inspection). Skills will run until 11:00am. It will close after that. 

11:10 - 11:25 Opening Remarks, Driver Meeting

11:30 - 12:30 Qualification Matches

12:30 - 1:15 Lunch Break

1:20 - 2:55 Qualification Matches

3:00 - 3:10  Alliance Selections

3:15 - 4:15 Finals Matches

4:15 - 4:30 Awards

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

This event could be postponed due to extreme weather conditions and district policies.

Refund and Payment Policies

Payment Policy

Payment should be made at least 10 calendar days before the day of the competition. Ten calendar days before the event, we will check your payment status in Robotevents.com. If your status is listed as "Unpaid", "Pending" or anything other than "Paid", you will be contacted via email and asked to reply showing proof of CC payment or approved purchase order (e.g. a scanned image or PDF of the PO). If you fail to provide proof of payment by noon on the Saturday prior to the event (i.e. one week prior to the competition), your team(s) will be moved to the waitlist and your spot(s) will go to other teams.

If you pay your registration but are unable to attend, we will not be able to issue a refund.

 

Refund Policy

Refunds will only be issued if the event partner has to cancel the event.

Park in the green areas in front of the school. Please avoid parking in the visitor section (indicated in red below). Also. please do not park in any spaces marked "reserved".

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks must be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on robotevents.com
