General Info

This is the first annual tournament at Roncalli High School. This is a blended tournament and if we have 10 middle school teams we offer a middle school excellence award.

If you would like to pay us directly to avoid the credit card processing fee, we would be happy to accommodate that. Please reach out to Barry Atwell 317-572-8376 [email protected] to make arrangements.

Payments are due within 2 weeks of registration or by 1/24/15, whichever is sooner. If payments are not made in time, teams can be moved to the wait list.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Unless the government says we cannot have the event, we will have the event. If we are forced to cancel the event, we will credit your organization toward a future event. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

We do not anticipate cancelling the tournament but if we are forced to cancel due to an act of God we will credit your registration fee to a future tournament.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Our standard policy is that we do not do refunds. Do not register teams you do not plan to have compete.

Travel Info

The event will be held in the gym in the main building and the pits will be in the cafeteria. Pits will be just below the gym. If you have someone with the team that has mobility issues, please let us know so we can make accomodations.

Judging Format

Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply. Please see the Remote Judging section of the Guide to Judging for more information.

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
