Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of cancellation due to weather, refunds will be issued if a makeup date is not found.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
- Refunds will be issued if a makeup date is not found.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
- Refunds will only be issued if a team is found to fill that spot.
- No refunds will be given for withdrawls less than 2 weeks prior to the tournament.
- Regardless of the reason for issuing a refund the $5 REC fee is not refundable.

The tournament will be Live Streamed on the KS VEX Youtube Channel. This channel was created by one of our BLHS Robotics students.

Judging Format
All In-Person Judging
- The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event.
- Teams should bring a PHYSICAL COPY of their notebook to submit to the judges. Judges will not review digital notebook submissions. Please print any digital engineering notebooks in advance and bring them with you the day of the tournament. Printed notebooks must still be bound (3-ring binder for example)
- Teams must submit a copy of the Innovate form inside the front cover of their engineering notebook in order to be considered for the Innovate Award. We will have copies of this form available the day of the tournment.
