General Info
Let's set the stakes for HIGH STAKES! Join us at Springfield High School for this opening tournament!
We will judge physical engineering notebooks for this event only. Please bring a physical notebook or a printed copy of your digital notebook for judging.
The tournament will be run through smart field control. Please make sure your brain has your team number coded into it.
Parking will be located on the Springfield High Campus. The front of the gym will be a loading/unloading zone only. Buses will have parking in a lot attached to the campus.
Concessions will be sold, including pizza and snacks. We are in a very small town, but we do have one chain sub shop, one chain pizza shop, and a couple local grocery stores who offer plate lunches within a five minute drive.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of an emergency or bad weather, the event may be cancelled.
In any event, teams will be contacted as soon as possible with the information. The event partner will contact teams if the event must be postponed. Teams should make sure their contact information is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.
Please check your email the day of the tournament.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: There will be no refunds unless the entire event is cancelled.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: Refunds will be given if a team cancels before October 20. No Refund will be given after that date.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
