General Info
When you arrive, you will be asked to use only the front entrance unless there is an emergency. There is plenty of room for bus parking in the front of the school. Please feel free to invite family and friends, we will have an area set up for them to watch and cheer on their favorite team!
Coaches please advise your teams to check in immediately upon arrival and use their assigned pit area to set up for the day. Please be sure your V5 brains are updated along with the contollers. We are using the Smart field Controller so be sure you have your team numbers assigned to the brain so it displays correctly. We look forward to an exciting day of competition.
We will have a concession stand running. We will have meals as well as snacks and drinks to meet the needs of everyone.
Come prepared to have fun and enjoy a day of friendly competition! Lets kick of the 24-25 season the right way!!
Payment should be made at least 1 week prior the event. If payment is not made you may be moved to the waitlist. Please contact the Event Partner with any questions.

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

8:40 – 9:00 Opening Ceremony and Driver’s Meeting
9:00 -12:00 Qualification Matches Begin & Skills field opens
12:00-1:00 * Lunch (Skills will remain open during lunch)
1:00 – 2:30 Qualification Matches Resume/Skills line will close sharply at 2:00pm any team not in line will not be accepted after this time.
2:45 Alliance Selection**
3:15 - 5:15 Elimination matches begin
5:15 - Finals
5:30 – Awards Presentation
* This is a fluid agenda. Lunch may be shortened to keep the tournament on schedule as the Referee and EP see fit.
** This is a fluid agenda Alliance Selection will begin 15 minutes after the last Qualification match followed by Eliminations 15 minutes after Alliance selection is completed.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In an event of an emergency, the event will be postponed and rescheduled. Coaches will be directly contacted. All cancellations will be communicated through email. Please check your email the day before and the morning of the tournament.
Refund and Payment Policies
In the event that the tournament is canceled by the event administrator, a refund will be issued to registered teams. Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing of funds from REC and turn around of refunds to individual teams. Please contact the Event Partner with any questions.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend, we will NOT process any refunds. This is due to acquistion of venue, setup and prepartion expenses for the event.

During our competition, the area will open to the public, so we advise all teams to keep valuable items with you or take the proper security measures to protect your valuable items.
Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Engineering Notebooks are due no later than November 4, 2024.
