General Info
This is the DiscoBots annual VEX tournament. We strive for high quality VEX events !
Doors will not open until 8 AM.
Location Details:
Parking is available in the 3-story parking structure next to the Lamar High School. (entrance on Eastside)
The event will take place in the main staircase area accessible by the Eastside entrance.
The Eastside entrance has a covered bus port for loading equipment.
Tournament INFO:
We will have two game fields, 1 skills, and 1 practice fields.
Concessions will NOT be available. Team will be allowed to bring their own lunch/food/snacks into the event.
There are many nearby fast food options to the school.
Payment/Waitlist
If you are not paid or have made arrangements a few days before the event, you may be dropped from the event to make room for new teams.
If you are running late or might miss the event, please email or call to relay that message.

This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

8 AM- Doors open
8:15: Check-in, Inspections start right away.
8:30- All teams must be checked in. If you are not checked in by 8:30, your team risks not being in match schedule.
9:15- Matches start
12:00-1:00 Lunch
1:00-3:15 qualification matches
3:45- Finals start
4:30- Awards
4:50- tear down-
6:00 pm - Doors close

We will send an update by email if there is a weather issue
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: Refunds will be granted to all teams.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
If the withdraw happens more than 1 week before the event , A partial refund ($100) will be granted.
If the withdraw happens less than 6 days before the event, no refund will be granted.
Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event.
Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.
A submission deadline for the notebook will be October 20th .
