Welcome to Battle at the Branch!
This will be a fun-filled event with good competition from around South Carolina! Doors will open at 7:30 AM on Saturday with skills available until 11 AM. This is a qualifying event for the South Carolina VEX Robotics State Championship.
Teams may park in the back parking lot in front of the football stadium. All teams should enter through double doors past the basketball stadium. Only registered teams and mentors should be in the pit area in the cafeteria during the event, while spectators should remain in the basketball stadium stands to watch the competition. Only team members, official volunteers, and referees should be on the competition floor.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In case of emergency or bad weather, this event may be canceled. Refunds will be granted per RECF guidelines.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: Refunds will follow RECF guidelines.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: No refund if payment has already been received.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in person on the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
