General Info

Welcome to Verdigris, home of the Mighty Cardinals!  We are located halfway between Claremore and Catoosa, OK.  Lunch options are limited, but we will have concession food available.  The tournament will be held in the Junior High gym. Please remember to bring power cords.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Volunteers are always greatly appreciated!  Please let me know if you are able to contribute with a certified Head Ref or Judge Advisor, or even if your group has judges available.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If the event needs to be cancelled due to bad weather or an emergency, teams will be contacted by email and the event will be rescheduled if time permits.  Please note the $5 processing fee charged by Robotevents will not be returned.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:  teams will not be charged by REC for the event.  The $5 processing fee charged by Robotevents will not be refunded.

If the team is a no-show or withdraws from the event, no refunds will be given.

 

All payments for events will be managed by RobotEvents.com. If an event is to be rescheduled, payments may be applied to the rescheduled event.

Judging Format

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
