Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

7:30am - Inspection opens

8:30am - Inspection Closes

8:45am - Drivers Meeting

9:00am - Skills challenge opens

9:15am - Qualifying Matches begin

12:00pm - tournament breaks for lunch (skills remains open)

1:00pm - Qualifiers resume

2:00pm - Qualifiers end

2:30pm - Alliance Selection

3:00pm - Elimination Rounds begin

4:00pm - Event Venue Closes

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of an emergency or inclimate weather, an email will be sent out at the earliest opportunity. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event a refund will be issued to the teams at the earliest possible time.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

If a coach or mentor contacts the event partner to withdraw before October 12th to the event a refund shall be issued not including the RECF processing fee. 

If a team withdraws after October 12th, or is a no show on the day of refunds will not be issued.
