General Info

This year we will hosting our second anual Vex Robotics V5 Tournament at Washington High School.  We are excited for the oportunity to compete and have fun with all of you.  There will be 3 competition fields and 2 skills fields. 

Concessions will be available!

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of bad weather, we will make every attempt to contact all coaches by email, phone or text of any changes of the event or the event schedule.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: a refund for registration fees paid minus the $5 REC processing fee will be issued to each team. 

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:registration fees will not be refunded. 

 

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
