General Info

There will be a full concession stand all day. We are not able to accept electronic forms of payments just yet so cash and checks are the only forms of payment that we are able to accept at this time. We will have a lunch pre-order that will be sent out closer to the event. We strive to adhere closely to the agenda, but sometimes unforeseen technological or other issues may cause delays. If this occurs, we make every effort to recover lost time and return to the planned schedule as quickly as possible.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Check In and Inspection 7:00 am - 8:00 am

Qualification Matches and Skills 8:45 am - 12:00 pm

Lunch (concessions available)  12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Qualification Matches and Skills 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Alliance Selection and Elimination Matches: 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Awards and clean up 4:00 pm - 4:45 pm

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of bad weather event will either be cancelled or re-scheduled. Teams will be notified by 12pm the day before if this is the case.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

 If the event is canceled registration will be returned (minus $5.00 for RECF). 

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:  For a refund, the Event Partner must be notified at least 10 days prior to the event so that teams may be moved from the wait list, or other teams invited to attend. The refund will be less than the registration by $5.00 for the RECF. 

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
