General Info
The Robotics Club of HISD's Mandarin Immersion Magnet School is proud to present the 1st Inconceivable Master Builders VIQC Challenge. This tournament is for elelemntary and middle school students. Skills and judging will be offered.
NOTE: We have an 280 person occupancy cap for the event. Each team is allowed to have 11 people including students, coaches, and family/spectators.
We will be running two alliance match fields and one dedicated skills field for this tournament. Teams can set up practice fields along the south wall of windows along the cafeteria.
Parking - parking is available at MIMS parent lot along West Alabama, MIMS teacher's lot along West Alabama, and St George off McCulloh. Street parking is also available along McCulloh and Yorktown. Please observe parking signs, no parking signs, and fire lane markings.

7:30 AM to 8:00 AM – volunteer check-in and setup
8:00 AM to 8:45 AM – team check in and inspections
8:45 AM to 8:50 AM – print match schedule
8:50 AM – Team meeting
9:00 AM to 12:00 PM – Qualification Matches, judging, skills
12:00 PM to 1:00 PM – Lunch
1:00 PM to 3:00 PM – Qualification matches, judging, skills
3:15 PM - 3:30 PM – Finals matches begin
3:30 PM – 4:00 PM – Awards ceremony
4:00 PM – 4:30 PM – Clean up, venue closes
Volunteer
There would be no robotics tournaments without volunteers. Volunteers make robotics tournaments possible. Parents, older siblings, friends - please consider volunteering for any of the key positions. Free lunch, coffee, and snacks will be provided.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Cancellation notices will be sent via email to the primary head coach listed on robotevents.com.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Team registration fees will be used to pay for the venue in advance. Refunds cannot be given.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
No refunds.
Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
