This is an Elementary VEX IQ Rapid Relay tournament event.  It will be held in the NPI Gymnasium.

State spots will be determined based on the number of entries.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

At this time, we are not accepting volunteers outside of the New Palestine Community schools.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Please check your email for cancellations/delays based on weather. 

In the event of inclement weather, NPI plans to reschedule the event for Sat, Feb 22nd.  If, for some reason, we are unable to commit to the Mar 2nd date, refunds will be issued to each registered team minus the $5 registration fee through RobotEvents.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Refunds will be issued in the case of an event cancellation (less a $5 processing fee).
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Please only register robot teams that intend to attend. Due to the limited space for events, we will not issue a refund for any other reason.
Payment Deadline is January 4th, 2025. Not paying by this date may mean that your team may be placed on the waitlist to make room for another team.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Submission deadline for these will be on Wednesday, January 8th.
