General Info

Welcome to the 2025 SC ES VEX IQ State Championship!  If teams wish to be judged and in the running for Design and Excellence awards, teams should upload their Engineering Notebooks to their RobotEvents account by February 23th, 2025 .  This will allow the judges more time to review the notebooks and to prepare for interviews that will take place on the day of the event.

Interviews will be conducted the morning of the event durning the skills portion of our event.  

A schedule for interviews will be handed out the morning of the event and sent our the week of the event along with more details. 

This years event is tentatively set to be held at JL Mann High School.  If anything changes we will let you know at least 1 month before the event.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If we have to cancel due to an emergency or bad weather the competition will move to the following weekend.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels/postpones the event and you are unable to attend than a refund minus $10 will be administered to the teams.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend then a refund will not be administered.

Judging Format

  •  Electronic Engineering Notebook Submissions: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the Event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted electronically for evaluation, with a submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
