General Info
VIQRC- Rapid Relay Qualifier @ RMS is a Blended event, Elementary and MS teams are welcome!
Registration Information
- All participating teams must be registered with VEX Robotics and the Robot Events website and have an official team number before registering for this event.
- Tournament fees must be paid by Jan. 18, Unpaid teams will be placed on a waiting list.
- Registration and payments should be made through the Robot Events website.
Participation and Consent Form
- A completed form for all participants must be uploaded to robotevents.com prior to the tournament. Team leaders will need to check that all team members attending the event have completed the online consent form prior to the tournament.

Competition Preparation
- All teams should come prepared for competition.Pre-inspect your robot with the Robot Inspection Check list
- Review all the documents attached: Code of Conduct, Guide to Judging, Student Centered Policy, etc.: Click on "Documents" tab on the menu.
- Review the Rapid Relay Game Manual
- An email will be sent to all coaches with detailed information about this event.
Lunch and Concessions
- Lunch and snacks will be available during the tournament offered by RMS PTA.

8:00 Doors open,
8:15 Registration, and Inspection Open.
9:00 Opening Remarks and Drivers Meeting - Robot skills will run until the qualification matches are over.
9:30 Qualification matches start.
12:00 - 1:00 Lunch (Girl Powered presentation at 12:45*)
1:00 - 2:30 Qualification Matches
3:00 - 4:00 Final Matches, immediately followed by awards*
(Award ceremony will start right after Judges turn in results)

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
- For event day information regarding weather delays or cancellations, please check the event page for updates.
- Notification of any changes to this event will be emailed to the contacts provided with your registration through robotevents.com.
Refund and Payment Policies
- Per the RobotEvents.com fee structure, $5.00 of each registration is used by their organization for processing and is not refundable.
- Refunds will be issued in the cases of an event cancellation.
- No refunds will be issued if a Coach/Mentor completes registration, but chooses to withdraw or not attend.
- No refunds will be issued to "no show" teams.
- Tournament fees must be paid by Jan. 18, Unpaid teams will be placed on a waiting list.
Judging Format
Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the Event.
Only Electronic Notebooks will be Judged in this competition.
Electronic Engineering notebooks must be uploaded to Robot Events no later than 9am on Saturday, January 8th, 2025
