General Info

As in year’s past, Georgia TSA will have a VEX IQ robotics qualification tournament at Fall Leadership on Friday.  Registration for this event will be a little different this year, so please make sure you read the details below.  Also, you must be a registered Georgia TSA Fall Leadership chapter.

1.   Make sure you have registered your team number through robotevents.com for the 24-25 season.  We will be using RobotEvents and GATSA's EMS system to register teams. You won't be officially registered until your team is entered in both places.  Teams can't register through robot events until an official VEXIQ team number is secured for the 24-25 season.  Directions for how to register a team for the season can be found here.  Please note RECF now requires all primary and secondary contacts to complete a background check.  If you had one in the RECF system that is more than two years old, or if you never did one with RECF, you'll be prompted to go through that process before you can renew/register your team for the 24-25 VEX season. Make sure you provide yourself enough time to have this cleared in order to make the FLC registration deadline (step 3 on the directions will tell you how to do this).

2.    If you plan to compete, you can register TWO TEAMS per chapter for the GATSA Fall Leadership VEX IQ Robotics Tournament. Since this is an "invitational" tournament, you'll be added to the tournament waitlist when you register through RobotEvents. Once registration has closed for Georgia TSA, we will verify that schools are registered for the TSA Fall Leadership Conference, in the EMS for VEX, and then add the teams from the waitlist to the event.

3.    Judging – To help with judging, we will be doing an early design notebook submission with interviews onsite.  You will upload the notebook to robotevents.com following the directions at this link. Notebook links must be uploaded by 5:00pm on October 30th.

Deadlines and Details:

  • 2 teams per chapter
  • Teams must have an official VEX IQ team number (registered through RobotEvents before you can register).
  • October 18 - Tournament Registration Deadline – Adding yourself to the waitlist for the event.
