General Info

This is a unique event that combines the essence of the VEX Robotics Competition and featured award winning projects from the NASA International Space Apps Challenge.

This event aims to invite enthusiastic youths interested in robotics and space technology to form teams and work together on competitions and innovative projects. Moreover, the event will showcase outstanding youth robotics projects that have won awards in the NASA Space Apps Challenge over the past three years. We plan to invite some special guests includes Scientists from NASA, Local Lead members of the Space Apps Challenge organizing committee, Robot Specialst from colleges,REC Leaders, NASA Judges, award winners, and outstanding youth robotics teams to participate in this event.

This is not just a competition but a platform for learning, sharing, and growth, allowing participants to unleash their creativity and engineering skills while exploring the frontiers of space.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: No refunds after the registration deadline October 27, 2024.

 

Judging Format

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
