General Info

Heritage Christian School invites you to compete in this VEX IQ Robotics Competition "Rapid Relay" event, held in the HCS Elementary Gymnasium.  There will be a cash only concession stand with food and drinks, and a pizza order form.  This is a Middle School Only event, there is also an Elementary School Only event which will be held at the same time in the same gymnasium.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Please check your email for Bad Weather cancellation.  Refunds will be available if you are unable to travel due to weather.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

Full refunds will be issued to all paid teams within 8 weeks following the event.

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Requests for refunds for teams must be made more than 10 weeks prior to the event, they will be issued within 8 weeks following the event.  Otherwise, no refunds for teams who choose not to attend will be provided.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event.

Teams should submit a link to RobotEvents.com prior to the day of the event, or they may bring a physical copy to submit to the judges on the day of the event.
