General Info

Good Day Teams,

It is a good day because you have elected to attend and compete at the River Raisin National Battlefield Park. The RiverBots III VIQRC Elementary School Rapid Relay Signature Event is the only Signature Event in MI and the only one at a National Park. The River Raisin National Battlefield Park preserves the site of the Battle of Frenchtown as the only national battlefield marking a site of the War of 1812. You can also join the Junior Ranger program joining Major Muskrats Militia. The event scheduled to take place Dec 6-7, 2024. Two days of teams competing for both judged and tournament awards.

The Event Organizing Committee and the River Raisin National Battlefield Park are eager to see you and your robots for competition in the "2024-2025 VIQRC: Rapid Relay". We expect intense competition with well-designed robots. This game looks to be a lot of fun!

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

The potential for exteme weather in MI during December is always possible. Weather related schedule changes or cancellations will be communicated in robotevents and sent to head coaches via the coaches registered emails as quckly as information becomes available. While last minute changes are possible they will be avoided if possible.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

Refund of $145.00 will be given only in case of event cancellation by the Event Partner.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

No refunds will be given.

Health and Safety Policies

With the cancellation of all local and national states of emergency there are no health and safety policies to be enforced. It is recomended that you follow your own dictates.
