Any spots not filled by DelMarVa Region teams 2 weeks prior will be offered to teams on the waitlist in order of the date/time they were added to the list.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

This event has no available makeup date. 

In the event of a weather-related cancellation, teams will be contacted as early as possible and event registration fees will be returned minus the $5 RECF processing fee.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will only be made if the event is cancelled by BrandywineBOTS (the Event Partner)  i.e. for Inclement Weather, COVID-19, etc.   Refunds will NOT include the $5 processing fee assessed by Robot Events.   Refunds will be coordinated thru the billing contact for the team.   

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend, there will NOT be a refund available, however they may swap their spot for another team from the same program in acordance with the RECF swap policy:

 

Registration fees are due 1 week prior to the event
- If your school requires a PO – Purchase Order, please let us know.    
- If your team hasn’t paid by the registration fee due date, your team will be placed on the waitlist.

There is plenty of parking both in the parking lot at the corner of Duncan Road and Brandywine Blvd. as well as along both roads. Please observe no parking signs.  There is an overflow parking lot in the rear of the building if needed.

When entering the building, use the main doors at the center of the parking lot.

Note that the center is attached to Mount Pleasant Elementary School.
