General Info

 

Welcome to the West Texas Robot Rumble hosted by Region 14 ESC, Gear Box, and Clyde CISD! This is a completely in-person event.  Judging will only take place in-person. Please read through all of the following, as each will be adhered to with no exceptions:

  • All attendees are expected to abide by the code of conduct 

  • Although we don’t expect there to be any violations during the tournament, the EP reserves the right to disqualify any person(s) and ask perpetrators to leave the premises.

  • All participants are expected to have the participant release form (Spanish)  on file prior to competing.  Please verify that all your students have this form completed and that it has been uploaded to your team’s account

Physical engineering notebooks will be collected upon check-in.

Concessions will not be available at the event.

One (1) practice field will be provided.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

9:30 AM - Skills Challenge Opens and Practice Matches

10:00 AM - Teamwork Qualification Matches Begin

12:00 - 12:30 - Lunch

12:30 - 2:00 Continue Teamwork Qualification Matches

2:30 PM - Teamwork Final Rounds Begin

3:30 PM - Awards Ceremony

3:45 PM - Cleanup PIT areas /  pack out / depart

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
