General Info
Welcome to the Haile Storm VEX IQ Tournament! This year's challenge is Full Volume. The event will be hosted at Carlos E. Haile Middle School in Manatee County, Florida. We are very excited to be hosting this tournament, and look forward to seeing the amazing and innovative builds that are brought to the tournament!
This is a Middle School only event. Families are welcome to attend, but only competitors and coaches are allowed in the pit area.
Concessions will be available throughout the tournament.
Engineering Nnotebooks will be submitted digitally, so if you have a paper notebook you will need to scan it and upload it.

This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the case the tournament cannot be held on the planned date due to bad weather or other emergency, a reschedule will be comunicated. If the event is not able to be rescheduled, a refund (minus the $5 fee collected by the REC) will be provided to all paid, registered teams.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
- Full refund will be provided within 30 days.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
- 100% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before the event.
- 50% refund for cancellations 15 to 30 days before the event.
- No refund for cancellations in teh last two weeks before the event.

Judging Format
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Submission deadline is 1/13/2024 (one week before the event).
