Welcome to the 2023-2024 Maui Vex IQ League hosted by Binhi At Ani & Maui Waena Intermediate!

The MauiVex IQ League would like to provide Maui VEX IQ teams the opportunity to grow their teams throught this robotics season!

There will be four dates for league play.

Four qualification matches: November 18, December 2, & December 9, December 19th.

Robot skills (3 Driver & 3 autonomous attempts)

 League Championship  on January 20, 2024. 

Engineering Notebook due at check-in, & robot skills (3 Driver & 3 autonomous attempts)

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Volunteer

Volunteers are the backbone to the success of any event.  We are currently seeking volunteers in any capacity.  Experience is not required for many roles!

We are currently looking for volunteers for the following:

  • Emcee
  • Referees
  • Field Resetter
  • Judges
  • Robot Inspection
  • Set up & Clean up

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event that we are unable to convene due to inclement/bad weather the individual event will be rescheduled. 
The event partner will contact teams if the event must be postponed.

Teams should make sure their contact information is up to date in RobotEvents.com, and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.

Refund and Payment Policies

Once the registration deadline is reached, there will be no refunds unless the tournament is canceled because of the weather.  Refunds will be $115, less the $5 processing fee the REC Foundation charges for each team.

Judging Format

 Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. (1/20/2024)

Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
