Thank you for registering for the Edgewood Schools Robot Rumble- Blended VEX IQ Tournament! Below you will find detailed information that will help ensure that we all do our part to make the day as successful as possible for our teams. If you have any questions please reach out to Kelly Grimes. Please also ensure that you have submitted payment and uploaded your students' consent forms at robotevents.com prior to the event.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

9:15-9:30 a.m. - Opening Ceremonies/Introductions

9:30-12:00 p.m. - Qualifying Teamwork Matches/Skills Opens

12:00-12:15 p.m. - Score Review and Final Alliance Announcement

12:00-1:00 p.m. - Lunch / Skills Challenge concludes at 12:30

1:15-2:00 p.m. - Final Teamwork Matches; Awards Ceremony

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Please note that per a change in Robot Event’s policy we will not reschedule should there be a need to cancel the event due to inclement weather. We hope this is not a concern but will email the list of coaches on the morning of, should we see a need to do so.  We look forward to showcasing everyone’s hard work with their robots!

If the Event Partner cancels the event:  refunds will be made minus the $5 RECF fee.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and then chooses to withdraw or not attend:  no refund will be issued.

Judging Format

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
