General Info

This is an Official Indiana VEX IQ State Qualifying Event.

State spots will most likely be added to this event toward the end of October, first of November

Early Bird Registration will be used this year.
Note: The first two events selected will count toward Early Bird and cannot be changed once used.

Any registered team not paid within two weeks of the event will be transferred to the waitlist.

Concessions will be available all day for breakfast, lunch, and snacks.  We will be doing a group pizza order with more details to come as the event gets closer.

Please make sure all participant and coaches have filled out the online participants release form because the REC now requires all Event Partners to check to make sure all teams have submitted the required online form.

If your team needs any special accommodations, please contact Laurie Wandland, in advance, so that arrangements can be made to meet the needs of your team.

Early Bird Registration will be used this year.
Note: The first two events selected will count toward Early Bird and cannot be changed once used.

If you have a field with elements that we can use for the day please let us know. We currently will not have a dedicated practice field!

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations please visit the event on where I will post updates about the event status as needed in the General description. Please feel free to contact me by phone (269)362-0234 if you are going to be late to the event.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

We will attempt to reschedule any canceled event and credit you toward that or future events held at Riverside Intermediate, Plymouth, IN.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

If this is at least 4 weeks before the tournament you will need to submit a return request invoice, minus the $5 processing fee, and a refund will be processed. As we are dependent on our school secretary to process these returns, it may take up to 4 weeks to process.

We are not planning to livestream the event. If you would like to livestream, please contact [email protected] to make arrangements.

Judging Format

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
