General Info

This event is an Invitational Event for Dallas ISD teams.  If the event does not fill up, then non-Dallas ISD teams may be added to fill the event. Teams will need to add themselves to the Waitlist first, then the event administrator will add them to the event. You will receive a notification once your team is added to the event list of teams. This event is open to spectators.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

No volunteers are needed.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

All cancellations will be communicated through email. Please check your email the day before and the morning of the tournament (before leaving).

Unfortunately, there will be no make-up in case of weather cancellations.

Refund and Payment Policies

In the event that the tournament is canceled by the event administrator, a refund will be issued to registered teams.  If a team/coach cancels their registration, it must be done at least one week prior to the event, or no refund will be granted.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In-Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.
