Join us for the Cabot Vex IQ Winter Classic Blended Tournament! 

This is a VEX IQ tournament for both Elementary and Middle School teams. More information will be sent out closer to event. Also, under the documents section, you will find a letter with pertinent information pertaining to the competition.

Payment: All teams MUST have payment completed PRIOR to the start of the competition! Teams that have NOT paid will be moved to the Wait List!

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

Volunteer

Volunteers are always welcome at our events.

If you, a member of your staff, parent, or other person attending our event would like to volunteer please contact Jessica House. A background check will need to be completed.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of emergency or weather related concerns the event will be rescheduled.

 

Weather will be evaluated 24-48 hours prior to the event to make determinations about rescheduling.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:  The event will be rescheduled.  There are no refunds for event rescheduling.

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:  Refunds are not offered for withdrawal or cancellation.  

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
