General Info

The Grassland Middle Generals are excited to welcome teams to our first Williamson VIQC Battle on the Grassland!

A pre-paid lunch and concessions will be provided. 

Additional information regarding directions, campus maps, times, and food information will be added closer to the tournament date.  In the meantime, if you have any questions, please email [email protected]. Participants will be required to submit the VEX liability release form through robotevents.com.

Payments are due by 1/03/24. If your team does not pay by that deadline, you will lose your spot and teams will be added from the wait list. 

If the event is full, please add your team to the wait list.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

Volunteer

Volunteers are essential to a successful tournament. Please consider volunteering. No prior experience is necessary. A sign-up will be linked here at least 4 weeks prior to the event. Volunteers will receive any training necessary. lunch, and a full day of inspiration working with incredibly talented youth.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If the event must be cancelled due to bad weather or another emergency, every attempt will be made to reschedule the event. If bad weather requires the event to be delayed, but held on the same day, each coach will be notified via email and phone.

Refund and Payment Policies

If your team is unable to attend, you can withdraw and request a refund up to 2 weeks prior to the event for a refund. After that we will be unable to give refunds.

If WE cancel the event, refunds WILL be given.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
