Modesto Robotics and Technology is excited to host this VEX IQ  Full Volume #1 tournament to be held at Cesar Chavez Ravenswood Middle School in East Palo Alto CA. Students and attendees are sure to have a fun-filled day of robotics competition and we look forward to seeing all of the teams shine! This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

7:00 AM - Open doors to Volunteers/morning setup

8:00 AM - Open doors to Teams / OPEN robot inspections /
check-in & turn in Engineering notebooks. " You must be inspected before you are able to Practice or run Skills"

9:00 AM - Check-in/Inspection ENDS - all teams should be present and inspected

9:00 AM- Driver's Meeting/Opening Ceremonies 

9:30 AM - 3:00 PM- SKILLS Challenge

12:00-1:00- LUNCH- concessions available

3:45 PM - Teamwork Final Rounds begin

4:30 PM - Awards Ceremony

4:30 PM - Cleanup PIT areas / pack out / depart

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Bad weather should not affect this event. In case of a cancellation, the event partner will contact you as early as possible. Teams should make sure their contact information in Robotevents.com is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.

Refund and Payment Policies

Teams who have registered but have not paid or submitted a PO 4 weeks prior to the event will be removed from the event unless a special arrangement has been made with the Event Partner.

No refund will be provided as the organization incurs expenses upfront to organize the event.

If the event is canceled, a full event registration (minus $5) refund will be given to all paid teams.

Teams are responsible for their own transportation and hotel costs.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In-Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
