Health and Safety Policies

COVID-19 is not "over" and there are other respiratory illnesses like the flu and RSV for which to remain vigilant.  To that end, teams are asked to use basic good health and hygiene practices throughout ROBOTICON Rumble.   Anyone who is not feeling well is advised not to participate in the event.  AMRoC’s full health and safety policy can be read here. https://amroctampabay.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/AMROC-COVID-Policy-May-2022.pdf

With regard to student safety, ROBOTICON Rumble is held in a public mall and while the mall is safe and secure, with additional security on hand during the tournament,  coaches and mentors are advised to establish basic safety protocols with students and to remain vigilant throughout the tournament and not let students wander. Horseplay, roughhousing and rudeness will NOT be tolerated at any time during the tournament.

We appreciate the support and cooperation of all teams in helping make ROBOTICON Rumble a fun, healthy and safe event for all!
