Volunteer
Volunteers help us make this event possible. In order to ensure we have enough volunteers, each school that participates should provide at least one volunteer. Due to the training and knowledge needed to be a volunteer, each volunteer should expect to be present and assist at all events. Below you will find the positions we need and the number of volunteers needed for each position. The volunteer guide that explains the role is linked to each. All volunteers should arrive 15-20 minutes before the times listed below to ensure they have time to set up before their role begins. COMPLETE THIS FORM TO NOTIFY US OF YOUR VOLUNTEER.
- Head Judge (1) (4:30 PM - 7:30 PM)
- Judge (2) (4:30 PM - 7:30 PM)
- Head Referee (1) (4:30 PM - 7:30 PM)
- Scorekeeper Referee (5 - 4 with 1 backup) (4:30 PM - 7:30 PM) - If we can get 6 or 7 referees, we could split the work to have 2 run the fields for driver and programming skills and the others would run qualification matches.
- Inspector (2) - (4:00 PM - 4:30 PM)
- Queue Guide (2) (4:30 PM - 7:30 PM)
- Emcee (1-2) (5:30 PM - 7:30 PM)
- Photographer (1) (Take events pictures and share with league)
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of severe weather, an emergency, or COVID related circumstances that may cause the event to be postponed, please check the General Information section on the event page for updates, school social media sites or contact your school's robotics league leader.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: If ALL events of the league are cancelled, the registration fee minus the $5 REC fee and card processing fee will be refunded.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: If a coach/mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withrdraw or not attend BEFORE the first event date, the registration fee minus the $5 REC fee and card processing fee will be refunded. Any changes AFTER the first event date will not be refunded.

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
