General Info
Welcome to the 8th annual VEX Robotics Event at Rochester Institute of Technology. The event is hosted by RIT's VEX U Robotics team. We will have at least two competition fields, one skills field, and one practice field available. field numbers depend on number of teams registered. Skills will be open during qualification rounds and lunch (see agenda).Each team will have a table, chairs, and power available to them. We will be using VEXText (optional) and scores will be live updated to the VEX Via app as well as robotevents.com.
Building & Room:
As of now this event will be located in the SHED. Exact rooms are to be determined.
Parking:
Cars and busses may drop off students, robots, and equipment in front of the loop next to U lot. Cars can park in U lot, S lot, or E lot.
Parking is free on weekends at RIT. Busses can park in S lot.

Food:
Lunch will not be provided. There are dining options on RIT's campus (not many are open on Saturdays - Link to RIT dining schedule/operation hours is linked below). There are many off-campus options to either pick up or have delivered to RIT.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
We will make all attempts to run the event, however, the event may be canceled if the university closes, travel conditions become too severe/dangerous, or other things outside of our control. We will be in touch with coaches if there are any travel concerns and will notify them of a decision as soon as we know.
There will be every attempt to postpone the event due to inclement weather to a new date before canceling the event completely.
