General Info

Bell AVR Competition Championship Event - Welcome!

Students use hands-on, industry-standard tools to design, build, and compete against teams from around the US with the most advanced aerial robotics technology available today. Participation in the Bell Vertical Robotics Competition prepares students for tomorrow’s STEM workforce needs on the ground and in the sky.

The Championship this season is a 2-Day event.  Teams will be expected to be present for both days of the event.  See the Agenda for more detailed information of the event activities.

Teams will need to qualify for this event from a previous qualifying event. In order to attend the BELL AVR Championship, teams will first have to qualify from one of the Bell competitions taking place the first 3 weekends in November.  This season, there will be a $500 event registration fee for the Championship event (not included in your initial team registration).  The event registration fee must be paid before the event using an approved PO, CC, or check. Note: An 3% processing fee will be added to credit card payments.

The qualification process to this event is included in the 2023 Bell AVR Game manual that can be found on the REC Foundation Bell AVR website.

Teams can add themselves to the waitlist for this event. To waitlist your team for an event, make your way to the Waitlist tab on the right side of this page. You should see a green ADD button beside your teams name.  Click add, and your teams will be added.  If there is extra capacity to the event after the qualification process has been completed in the season according to the game manual, then teams may be invited off of the Waitlist.  This will likely take place the week prior to the event.

Lunch: More information about team lunches will be added as we get closer to the event date.

Venue Security: All event attendees will be required to pre-register due to Bell security protocols for this venue.

The Championship event is located at the Bell Innovation Barn which is located in a secured facility. Teams will be required to pre-register by 12pm CT (noon) Tuesday, November 28th.  No late submissions will be accepted.

  • This includes all students, coaches, parents, or any other individuals that will be entering the Bell Innovation Barn facilities with your team.

  • Ensure that people attending with your team enter your team number in the last question on the form so that we can send you a list of those who submitted the form as the event approaches.

  • Those that do not submit the form will not be allowed into the competition.

  • All attendees must bring a form of ID (Drivers License, School ID or Passport)
