General Info:
Rockingham County Schools, McMichael High School, Morehead High School, and Nestle Purina are excited to host the NC VRC "I Have A Dream" Northern Qualifier. We are looking forward to hosting your VRC teams in what promises to be an amazing event with teams from all over North Carolina. Please refer to the agenda tab for the schedule. We anticipate that each team will have seven competition rounds for this event, however, this may change due to the number of registered teams and match reset rates. We are planning an in-person tournament, with in-person judging and physical notebooks. If you keep a digital notebook, a printed notebook housed in a three-ring binder is acceptable. Some Middle school-specific awards may not be given out depending on the number of middle school teams that register for this event. We will award these awards if we have enough competing teams.
Competition Preparation
All teams should come prepared for competition. Here are a few steps that every team should take to ensure that they are prepared.
Review all game information: Current Game Webpage
-
Review the rules and run through the inspection checklist about a week before the competition so that there is ample time for adjustments. Robots must use VEX V5 parts. Please self-inspect before arriving at the tournament using the V5 Robot Inspection Checklist

Check the official VEX forums for rule updates and changes.

Carefully read all of the information contained in the tournament posting on robotevents.com
