Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

For more details, please refer to the REC Foundation Code of Conduct and Student-Centered Policy. If you have concerns about compliance with the Code of Conduct, please speak to the Event Partner during the event.

9:45 - Qualification Matches Start

12:00pm - Skills Fields Closed / Lunch Break / Judges Interviews Continue

1:00-3:00pm - Skills open / Afternoon Qualification Matches / Judges Interviews Continue

3:00 - Skills Closed

3:00-3:20pm - Alliance Selection Process

3:20-4:00 Elimination Rounds and Finals 

4:00-4:30pm - Awards and Closing Ceremonies

4:30pm - Pack up and depart.

Política de emergencia/mal tiempo

Although we do not plan on having inclement weather, we kow we live in Indiana and the weather changes whenever it wants to.  In the event that this tournament cannot take place due to inclement weather, registration fees will be returned minus $5.00 for administrative fees and postage.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: teams will be refunded registration fees minus the $5 non-refundable fee to the REC Foundation

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:  Due to the costs of preparing and running the event, our standard refund policy is that we do not issue refunds.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging: The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event.  Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
