Información general

Welcome to the Southwood Jr/Sr High School Over Under Blended Tournament! We hope to be hosting 32 teams at this event which will be a qualifier for the VEX Robotics Indiana State Championship. The event will offer the elimination tournament, plus the skills challenge. We will also be offering the Excellence Award and the Design Award in addition to the two Tournament Champions. 

There will be a concession stand available during the competition. Teams will be invited to pre-order pizza which will be delivered to the school. Your team may enter the skills field line as soon as they have passed inspection. The skills field will close promptly when qualification matches are complete.

Code of Conduct

The REC Foundation considers the positive, respectful, and ethical conduct of teams to be an essential component of the competition. Participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner, and to operate as student-centered teams with limited adult assistance. This includes all students, teachers, coaches, mentors, parents, and spectators associated with a team.

3:00-3:20pm - Alliance Selection Process

3:20-4:00 Elimination Rounds and Finals 

4:00-4:30pm - Awards and Closing Ceremonies

4:30pm - Pack up and depart.

Política de emergencia/mal tiempo

Although we do not plan on having inclement weather, we kow we live in Indiana and the weather changes whenever it wants to.  In the event that this tournament cannot take place due to inclement weather, registration fees will be returned minus $5.00 for administrative fees and postage.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: teams will be refunded registration fees minus the $5 non-refundable fee to the REC Foundation

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:  Due to the costs of preparing and running the event, our standard refund policy is that we do not issue refunds.

Judging Format
